Long Jump

Room 11 have been enjoying practising how to do the Long Jump. Here are some photos of us last week in action.

Superhero Gary

This afternoon, Room 11 were visited by Gary. He is a super hero saver from the ASB bank. He showed us all of the different kinds of money we have in New Zealand. We had to work out which was worth the most. (Golden coins, then silver, then bronze). We had to read the numbers on the notes.
Then he talked about how we earn money. We had to practise doing chores to earn money. And learnt about spending and saving.

Edison Robots
This afternoon we  had some experts from Room 5 come and show us how to use the Edison Robots. We learnt how to turn them on and program them to follow a line and move when we clapped our hands. It was fun and we are wondering how we could use them next!

Our Science Expo

Here are some photos of Room 11's display in the Science Expo. Pop in to have a look at the learning we have been doing. The expo is open Tuesday and Wednesday this week. 8:30-3:30.

Rainbow Fish Calendar Art 2017

The amazing artists in Room 11 are very proud of their Rainbow Fish!! These can be ordered via the order form that came home last week. They can also be looked at more closely at the school office.
